As the largest city in the Okanagan, Kelowna is “action central” when it comes to visiting the region’s most awarded wineries. Wineries located in and near the city excel in the presentation of wine tasting experiences that can include everything from a pyramid wine cellar and an open-air amphitheatre to a wine museum. Many of the larger wineries offer expansive patio dining in a bistro atmosphere as well.
Kelowna is also the hub for the Okanagan Fall Wine Festival. For ten days in early October, from your festival base in Kelowna, you can enjoy over 165 events throughout the valley focused on wine, food and the arts. This festival continues to be ranked in the top 100 events by the American Bus Association (ABA) and is Kelowna’s premiere event.
Please note there are over 200 wineries in the Okanagan Valley we encourage to visit them all!
